The Breath of the Gods continues Bernard Werber's trilogy, using the same form of construction, alternating informative articles in the style of an encyclopaedia and normal prose. The articles define or enlarge upon the ideas in the main text. Also there are connections between his novels, and recurrent themes like l'Arbre des Possibles (The Tree of Possibilities), or the novel Nous les dieux. If Gods exist, what sort of education do they possess? How did they grow, mature? How do they decide to intervene in certain circumstances, and why do we interest them?
This edition is an audio book adaptation, read in Russian unabridged by Alexey Bogdasarov.
