When a 12 year old boy sneaks playing videgames at night, he is magically transported into the world of the game and has sprouted wings. Upon meeting an old gnome named Burt and his mouthy pet dragonfly, Lou, Xander realizes what's happened as these are game characters. The adventure to find a way home will be filled with love, laughter and lessons that ultimately make the journey easier when Xander begins accepting what he cannot change and making the best of what's is in his control.
