There's been enough death in the Hatcher family—brother Billy died as a teen in a game gone wrong. Now, after returning home to settle the family estate, brothers Mark and Benjamin discover that some old memories have yet to die. And maybe the same goes for Billy. After all, the body was never discovered.

Father Frank Timmons delivers the eulogy for Mrs. Hatcher, and also senses a malignant force in their small community of Kosmosdale, Kentucky. And it seems to hold more power over him than anyone as if controlled by the devil himself.
Meanwhile, a gorgeous real estate agent wants to sell the vacant Hatcher house...just a little too much.
