To Parents and Teachers: What is different about the Rabbit Trails books? The reason the series exists is to bring Glory to God and feed His children. Ninety percent of the profits go to feeding and rescuing children; and the dog adoption book feeds rescues. All the books start with the Word of God and have a short story to show how the bible relates to everyday living. As the bible is not a book to close, but a recipe for living abundantly. Many kids balk at the point of switching from colorful children's books to black-and-white chapter books. Right at the age when learning develops into a life-long enjoyment, the dread of reading can hamper their progress. The format and the content are designed to aid a love for learning. Lastly, the term "rabbit trail" is an idiom meaning the discussion has taken fun and interesting tangents. All the Rabbit Trails books encourage a passion for science, history, art and more. After the main story, related content is added in fun bite-sized portions. This allows kids to dive down a rabbit hole and discover more about the time period or the animal in the story, as the stories are factual fiction. I pray the wonderful creations of the Lord may never cease to amaze the hearts of His children.
