OverDrive MP3 Incompatible Devices
The OverDrive Media Console Transfer Wizard cannot currently transfer files to the devices listed below. However, each of the following devices should play OverDrive MP3 files. See the details for each device listed below for more information. (2 items) - Apple iPod Shuffle
OverDrive MP3 titles should play on the iPod Shuffle, but you must use iTunes to transfer OverDrive MP3 files to the device rather than using the OverDrive Media Console Transfer Wizard.
- Microsoft Zune
OverDrive MP3 titles should play on the Zune, but you must use Zune Marketplace to transfer OverDrive MP3 files to the device rather than using the OverDrive Media Console Transfer Wizard.

Please note that due to the changing nature of device hardware and software some of these devices might now support OverDrive WMA titles and/or OverDrive MP3 titles.
Manufacturers often release updates of firmware, the software on which portable devices run, as well as different versions of their hardware that might support OverDrive WMA titles and/or OverDrive MP3 titles. If your device is listed above, please visit your device manufacturer's website to check for firmware updates.
Please note that differences in device firmware make it possible for two similar devices to have different results in regard to compatibility. Manufacturers will often release firmware updates that may expand or limit device functionality. We recommend checking with manufacturers for the latest information on device firmware and file format support.
