OverDrive College Download Library Privacy Policy

College Download Library (CDL) is a product offered by OverDrive, Inc. ("we"). We are committed to
students' and end-users' (collectively "students") privacy. CDL services do not collect, store, or provide access
to students' identification information including but not limited to name, address, or gender.
To authenticate users of the CDL service, we request the student enter their student ID number
and in some cases a PIN. The CDL service's request of a student ID number or PIN is solely for the purpose of
communicating with the school's database to validate the status of the student. CDL does not access or retrieve
any identifying information from the school's database. Any and all information including, student ID numbers
and email addresses are protected from unauthorized disclosure.
